Software Use
1. Scope: Applies to all Croft Computer Systems software, including Croft Accounting, Membership, and Bookings.
2. Licence Terms: Non-exclusive, non-transferable, and for internal business use only, covering staff and, if applicable, committee members and accountants.
3. Usage: The software must be used as a single product and cannot be separated or altered beyond the terms of the sales order. Networking is allowed only within the licensee’s organisation.
4. Copying & Security: No unauthorised copies allowed. The software may include security features to prevent misuse.
5. Payment: Annual fees must be paid within 30 days of invoicing. Non-payment results in loss of licence and immediate cessation of use.
6. Licence Period: Covers 12 months from the start date on the sales invoice.
7. Set-up & Support: Croft assists with setup but is not liable for incomplete or inaccurate client-provided information. Any accounting guidance provided is advisory, and clients should confirm changes with their accountants.
8. Liability: Croft is not responsible for any damages resulting from software use.
9. Discontinuation: Licensee must provide 28 days' written notice before renewal. Failure to do so results in automatic renewal for another year.
10. End of Licence: Upon termination, all copies of the software must be returned or destroyed.
11. Breach: Croft can terminate the licence if the terms are materially breached.
12. Data Access: Croft may request a copy of customer data for support purposes, but only with explicit permission, and all data will remain secure and confidential.
