Help Line
At Croft we try hard to provide comprehensive support, because being golf clubs our customers may need our help at unusual times. So the Croft Handicapping Help Line is available 7 days per week, 9am to 10pm. We use a level of communications software that enables a member of the Croft support team to work on your screen remotely. We can literally sort out a problem while you watch! The Help Line is charged on a fixed annual price basis. You can call the Help Line any number of times without extra cost. There are no recorded messages unless all the lines are busy. Experienced staff based at our Warrington office are available to talk to you personally. In addition, all software modules are supplied with their own comprehensive operating manual.
Initial Training
Initial training is available for each module. It is optional - some may feel that they can install the software and learn to use it by reference to the installation instructions supplied, the reference manual, and the Help Line - and that saves the cost of 'Installation and Training' which is separately priced. It is possibly true with regard to the Handicapping and Bookings modules, but for the bigger modules of Accounting and Membership we suggest that 'Installation and Training' is very worthwhile.
The training is carried out on site and has no fixed timescale - we consider training to be complete when you are operating the system successfully - and we don't invoice you for Installation and Training until that is so.
Refresher Training
Staff change - sometimes at short notice - or you may feel that a refresher course will be to your advantage after using Croft for a while - eg. to get to grips with the more advanced features. We offer a 'refresher' training course for every module, again on site and over whatever period of time you consider (or turns out to be) necessary. The price for such training is per day, variable in relation to geographical location.
On-site Audit
We offer a one day fixed price audit visit - particularly useful for the Accounting module end of vat and / or financial year - such that we run an experienced eye over your vat postings and associated calculations before the year is closed down. Peace of mind! The day is fixed price, variable in relation to geographical location.
Equipment Failure and Database Repairs
Occasionally things happen with computer systems such as hard drive failure or back-up issues that in themselves are not Croft's problem and your IT support will deal with them, but there may then be an effect on the Croft database - eg. it isn't up-to-date or it's corrupted in some way. Croft provides help, either on-site or via the on-line link, to deal with such issues. We will advise, and in most instances sort out your problem without charge. If it is necessary to visit your club (not often necessary) then we will give you a fixed price in advance.
