Bookings System Update - NEW Dormy House facility
The Tee and Clubhouse Bookings System has had a makeover, including the addition of a Dormy House administration facility. The new facility controls up to 16 rooms, includes arrival and departure information, and a departure receipt / invoice. It now fully integrates with Croft Accounting and Croft Membership allowing easy transaction and financial management.

Addition to Staff
We are very pleased to announce that son Richard will join the family firm effective from the beginning of October 2011. Richard qualified with a Masters at Cardiff University and has been very involved in the Chamber Of Commerce promotion of the High Speed Rail Link from London to Birmingham to Manchester, appearing on Channel 4 TV and North-West radio channels. Initially he will concentrate on marketing and promotions, but will gradually be involved in all aspects of the company. His involvement should assure our customers of our long term commitment to golf administration.

Bar Car Forfeits
HMRC are now treating bar card forfeits as exempt income (vat code 3) instead of outside the scope (vat code 9). Amend the vat indicator on the relevant nominal account via NL / FM / AFM. Contact the Help Line if unsure.

New Accounting Service
Croft now offers two accounting services in addition to its highly acclaimed software systems.
1. 'VAT Health Check'. A full check on all your postings in the current VAT year, plus balancing of the Vat Control Account, recommendations, and report £375 remote, £550 on site!
2. 'Full Accounts Service'. The 'VAT Health Check' plus a check on all other controls, entry of accruals and prepayments, depreciation, computation of Corporation Tax, preparation and submission of statutory forms, and preparation of final account in your AGM format - £3100!!
